Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow needs your help today if we are to ensure that the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission recognizes that Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and NAVAIR Depot Cherry Point are critical facilities in the nation's military infrastructure and will advocate on their behalf during the 2005 BRAC process.

There are two important ways you can help.

You can write to your US Senators and Congressmen in Washington and your state government leaders in Raleigh and remind them just how important MCAS Cherry Point and NAVAIR Depot Cherry Point are to our military and our way of life in eastern North Carolina.

Below you will find addresses for North Carolina’s Congressional Delegation, as well as for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speakers of the House of Representatives.

It is also vitally important that you make a financial commitment to Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow so that we may continue our legal work, government affairs advocacy and public outreach on behalf of our military facilities, our Marines, Sailors and civilian employees. Other communities across the country also are speaking up for the military bases in their communities, but we know MCAS Cherry Point and NAVAIR Depot Cherry Point are the finest facilities of their kind anywhere in America. We need your help to deliver that message.

Help us tell our policy makers how important these facilities are to our economy and our heritage and how proud we are of their dedicated service to our country. Print out a coupon that you can return to ACT with your donation. Any amount you are able to give will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way toward helping us support these vital facilities.

Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow is a not-for-profit 501(c)(4) organization. A gift to ACT is not deductible as a charitable donation. ACT can accept corporate or business donations, and these donations may be considered a business expense.

Please consult your tax advisor for rules and restrictions governing financial contributions to Allies for Cherry Point’s Tomorrow.
